You can start selling a few items that are lying around the house that you may not want. The thing that I do not like about this idea is where is the follow up sale. If they liked what they bought from you once they will most likely take a look at what you are offering at the time. You still need to build customers trust, but it can be done through the first sale if you sell a good reliable product or service.

Through the affiliate marketing you can earn up to 75% of the profit of someones items. Although the normal percentage would be 10-25% I have seen up to 75% of the income goes to you.
